How long have you been in business? We have been in business since 2008 but have over 20 years of experience in the roofing business. Are you accredited by the BBB? A Smith Roofing has been accredited by the BBB since 2008 and has a proven track record with them. What if I have an insurance claim? A Smith Roofing works with all insurance companies. Do I need to pay anything upfront? A Smith Roofing does not ask for anything upfront. We ask for payment upon completion. What type of roofing do you install? All types of asphalt shingles, shake, tile and Decra stone coated steel as well as repair or replacement on all roof systems. What does hail do to a roof? It accelerates granule loss and shingle aging, voids manufacturers warranties and leads to other associated problems. My roof leaks, do I need to have it totally replaced? Not necessarily. Leaking can be the result of some flashings that have come loose or because of a section of the roof has become damaged. However, an inspection of the roof would need to be performed to determine if a repair would be sufficient.
